Thanks, Do you mean the new sound set from fr4ncisco, chad and b-rock priced at $39? If so, yeah, it does sound sweet. I plan to pick it up at some point ... maybe this weekend. I'll report back when I have something to report.

Our b-rock made a commercial expansion pack?!! That's cool. I'll support b-rock, as he gave us some nice free presets, too! Where's the link to this commercial expansion pack? Can somebody post it?

Laney, if you don't have the Museum pack, you should get it. And the pay package too.
https://soundcloud.com/a-pleasure-dome http://www.bnoir-film.com/ there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

I can't speak much as I'm obviously biased, but I'm quite proud of this The demo songs are 100% Rapture except drums and Dimension Pro guitar power chords only in the song From71to97 (my personal rendition of two classic sounds, you'll spot them easily) Hope you'll enjoy this pack ciao Francesco

Fr4ncesco, I bought it and LOVE it. These sounds are worth more than $40 dollars. Thanks for the info on the demo, so many times you here a demo and then find out they were using other stuff. There is a lot you can do with these sounds with the multi-patterns and all. I stayed up too late playing with all these sounds! Great job

I'll ask them if I can post them somewhere. thomasabarnes Our b-rock made a commercial expansion pack?!! That's cool. I'll support b-rock, as he gave us some nice free presets, too! There are more details on the soundcloud pages for each track, but those don't appear with the embedded player. I'm glad you discovered the pack and are happy with it. :) My opinion is also biased, but fr4ncesco did an amazing job with the new Programs. For anyone else that is interested there is a pdf manual that you can download here: U120 Manual It contains mini brief tutorials on how to best utilize the SG, EG presets, and the custom LFO waveforms. Let me know if you have any more questions on the pack, audio demos, program/file lists, ect.

very very happy with these new programs for Rapture! some of them i had to quite literally peel myself away from in order to try out the next one . . . on a side note, i think it's getting to the point where Rapture needs some sort of Kore-like library (with categories and stars and colors!)

that guitar is from Dimension Pro it's the Les Paul power chord preset (don't remember the exact name), slightly modified with the old Shift+Transpose trick ( link) to make it stereo

In theory, a nice idea, but I'd really rather them spend time on Rapture 2 than clutter up the UI (even if it is just the bank list) with stuff like stars. Perhaps the ability to rearrange the patches, add, edit and create groups, right from that little library popup. That would be a better solution if you ask me.

Hi It would be nice if it installed correctly I've made a post about installing on dual Sonar 32/64-bit systems. But yeah it's a good expansion pack. And only £29 in the UK. For once Cakewalk aren't overcharging the Brits

As well as many windows beta testers. Best Regards, Chad

If you have both 32- and 64-bit Rapture installed, the pack only installs to the 64-bit version, and is unavailable in the 32-bit version. Copying a couple of folders fixes it. I've had the same problem before with other expansion packs. Cheers, John

Maybe less confusion for everyone that way. Always room to improve installers. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks Chad. Installers have a hard job to do in the first place, what with all the possible different configurations people can have. And, as you've correctly ascertained from my posts, my system is a little bit wobbly - I'm not sure I could expect an installer to work that out.

Hey guys, I just wanted to share. The Universal 120 v2 expansion pack was reviewed in the latest Wusik Sound Magazine. You can find a link to the article here: http://issuu.com/wusik/docs/wsm_july_2011/162 Special thanks to Jeffrey Powell, who also frequently ventures on these forums. :) Chad

... reviewed in the latest Wusik Sound Magazine. That made my day. A positive review from someone who really gets the whole concept behind U120. Thanks to Jeffrey Powell for taking the time to dive in and explore the depths.
