Please help: Kirnu Arpeggiator

I know there is another thread about the Kirnu arpeggiator. But the Youtube video in it is the worst I've ever seen, and this advice doesn't work for me:
"Larry , When you insert Kirnu, Insert as a simple instrument track , and enable midi out.
 load the vsti you wanna use normally simple instrument track,  Goto the VSTi's change the midi in to Kirnu omni. Next goto Kirnu's in and change that to omni .. That should get you working , I tried it works like a charm.. So enabling midi out on Kirno is what you need to do."

Could someone please post a more coherent explanation? I can't set Kirnu's midi in to Omni - only 1 - 16.

    Insert Kirnu , Check Enable midi Out, Insert Your Instrument you wanna Use, direct that midi in to Kirnu midi channel you wanna use ,Omni is fine for now , But Kirnu allows for 16 midi channels if you desire, Also make sure input echo is on. Finally Arm your inserted VSTi for record and record.. 

    Computer - Intel Q9550, Intel BX48bt2 MB, W8 64 bit. 8 gb Ram, SSD  
    Hardware - Tascam Fw1884 Control surface only, Ni S49 Komplete Kontroll,Roland Quad Capture, Ni Machine,Kore, Focusrite A/D converter, Blue Mic, Roland Gaia, Akai Mpk49, Yamaha HS80 Monitors.
    Software - Sonar Platinum , Vengeance VPS bundle,Sugar Bytes Effectrix, Turnado, NI Komplete 10 Ultimate, Dune, Rob Papen  Blade , Delay, Punch Evolved.

    I made that video on my camera phone sorry, Exact instructions are below... it was to help out ..

    To be specfic, the MIDI Out option is in the insert synth dialogue.  Standard synths don't need this turned on, but this is how some FX plug-ins need to be set up.
