The Bapu couldn't make the UK...

....until next year.

So this year he's sent one of his people instead.

Mr Obama will be in England tomorrow but I've told him he'll have to stay at 'Buck House' with Liz and Phil because Chez Bouy is reserved for the actual Bapu only.

Did I do the right thing?

Yes, make sure Liz and Phil know that our guy needs an open air balcony for an occasional Camel or Lucky Stripe.

Another reason he can't stay at Chez Bouy.

It's been a smoke free zone for the last 4 months.  Even I need the balcony from time to time.

Could Mr. Obama stay at Chez Buoy if he were willing to pay additional fees? It could be a profitable moment of charity for you, Jon.

We have to thrash out a new monetary incentive, Barack and I.

I have a plan which involves him investing $800 billion in Bouy enterprises.  This would make a substatial trade deficit for the US.

In order to redress that deficit he would need to further invest in manufacturing on the US mainland.  This would mean building many new factories and creating new employment opportunities in order to bridge this trade gap.  Of course I would by then be in a position to  be a major share-holder as well as financier in this regeneration scheme.

I would then encourage these new factories to over-produce in order to keep unit prices as low as possible in order that I could always buy stock at less than current world market prices.

The full details are a bit too complicated to explain here but all it requires for everyone to be better off is just to trust me.

Since I don't think he can afford that right now, I'm guessing he'll offer you Brazil as collateral.

(That would make you a Brazilianaire, roight?)
