2nd Live Performance at the Gardens...

... which why I went missing for a few days... I forgot how completely exhausting it is... I literally have performed live with my keyboard a Grand total of one other time.  SO... geez.

I have about 10 more songs to be digitized so that Mom can enjoy them back in Ohio, but there are 3 already posted on the Youtube.  Here's one of 'em if'n you are at all interested.  :)

I may have inadvertantly found the aboslute WORST POSSIBLE angle from which to film any human being.  That's just fabulous (this is what happens when you have no roadies).  And also, probably there's too much reverb.  I didn't have anyone to help me sound check.  So.... you'll just have to get over that (Mooch).  :D

    There was reverb?

I was too mesmerised by your playing and your singing to notice.

It was Saturday... I should have told you.  I will next time.  PROMISE.  I think this will be a regular thing.... not that I get paid.  Not that there's anyone actually GOING to the gardens... but you know.

It's fun to play there, if only to entertain the peacocks (you can hear them squacking in the background on some of the videos) and the exotic birds who live there.  The whole idea is that maybe live music would bring in customers... so far, not so much.  :)

HA!  Thanks, Ed... although the PLAYING is not my strong suit.  At least I'm okay with making the mistake and keeping on keeping on... I couldn't help but think, wouldn't it be *awesome* to have Janet there instead of me??? :D

Live music only brings in customers if people know about it.  If you let me know next time, there's a chance I might be able to go.

Ed, Phil already commented on the Facebook.  :D

And, yeah, I owe him some work... But I had to practice... I did like 30 songs?  omg.

Note to self... three hours is TOO LONG!

Old, I will... I will.  It'll be like your own personal concert.

    Thanks, Karyn!

Did I mention I made a WHOLE $12 in tips???  HAHAHAHA!  And there were only 3 people there the whole time?

Phil is already so impressed with J's singing that if I got any more so, I'd be concave
Besides, I already caught her performance on FB... and I'll have you know that I've declared myself the foremost Julibee fan on all of LawnGuyLand.

Maybe I should fly out for the next show... eh?

If my arm were long enough, I would stretch it all the way to California to drop at least a couple coins in your cup!!!!  --- Well you certainly didn't scare any of the customers away!  That's always a good sign.
