ProChannel isn't working in 32-bit??

I was really excited to work with ProChannel, so I went to try it out and it just doesn't work in 32-bit X1, for me at least.  I tried it in existing projects from 8.5, and then in a blank new project, and none of the three components do anything.  The EQ curve doesn't even shape if you turn the knobs.  I opened 64-bit X1 to see if I'd have the same problem there, but it was working fine.  I was hoping to move some 32-bit-only plugins over to ProChannel so I could go full 64-bit, but it doesn't look like I can do that if I can't A/B 'em in X1 32.

There are small buttons in the upper right of each module. Grey=disengaged (which is the default), Blue=enabled. Are the Pro Channel modules you're trying to use enabled?

They turn on automatically when you touch a setting.

It may well be a VST. I had exactly the same and the removal of a VST (can't recall which) solved it.

I tried it in a blank project and it still didn't work.

Try a re-scan of your VST's. I know it sounds dumb but it's fixed a couple of Pro Channel problems in the past.

No, I mean, remove the VST's from the scan utility. Have no VST's. See if it PC springs to life. It's worth fighting for :-)

They turn on automatically when you touch a setting.
They only turn on automatically the first time they are touched. If you've turned them off again, you need to engage them via the on/off buttons, as touching a setting will no longer bring it back to life.

Don't fix it in the mix ... Fix it in the take!

When having the issue, are you trying to enable ProChannel on a track which was previously using the Sonitux EQ?  If so, you'll need to hold Cntrl while clicking the 'on' button in the upper right hand corner of the Pro Channel EQ module to enable it (and disable the Sonitus EQ).

I (and others on the forum) have encountered some instances where the ProChannel EQ wouldn't enable despite doing the process above - however this 'should' enable it if Sonitus was previously used on that track.
