Sonar 8 using Addictive Drums 1.5 and Roland E drums

I am using Sonar 8 Producer with Addictive drums 1.5 as my Soft synth VST . My input is a Roland TD3 E Drums module through a Cakewalk UM-1G midi interface. I can see the red midi in light flash in the tool bar with Sonar running when I hit the pads but it does not transfer into Addictive drums. I can click on the kit peices and they sound great. Just need the MIDI to activate AD.
Can anyone suggest what I have missed in my setup.  Cheers Paul

you probably need to use a drum map with AD from the TD3.  I'm pretty sure that AD is not GM mapped and I would be surprised if the TD3 is either.  you'll need to create a custom Drum Map with inputs from the TD3 and outputs to AD according to the correct note names.

    Thanks Beagle,
AD 1.5 has full E drum support with a drum map preset for the TD3, I have selected that but still have no results. Cheers

ok, that should work then, can you give me some more details on how you're inserting AD into your project?  you're not running it standalone are you?
