Pentagon not inserting. Help!

Pentagon not inserting. Help!

Hiya, sorry for the newbie ish question...just haven't come across this before.

I tried to insert Pentagon into a project in Sonar x1 64 PE and got a message saying "failed to insert synth. Plug-in may not be properly installed".

Can I re-install this plug in alone from the installation discs or should I contac support to get a fresh version of the *.dll file?

Most others seem to be insert OK, but on or two others arent. Also happening in Sonar 8.5...so I suspect it's just a corrupt dll. I rescanned using the plug in manager to no avail.

    You need to run sonar as Administrator. I actually had to change some permission in the registry, but I think that's just my weird machine.

    Whey hey! It worked! I think if one is running sonar plus, that also should be run as admin. I should have thought to try that but thatnk heaps for reminding me. I was trying to create some taurusy bass swells under a bass guitar tracks and having used pentagon in previous versions onn sonar, I was looking forward to using it and the error kinda ruined my mojo ;-) Onwards and upwards...thanks!

    How does one ensure that it ALWAYS runs as administrator?

    you can right click your shortcut and go to properties -> shortcut -> advanced -> run as administrator.

    So you can just run it like normal from now on and it'll be admin.
