Any free capture SW with a database importable into Sonar?

Hi,
 
I'm going to record an upcomming gig on my laptop.  I use Sonar on my studio desktop and am looking for something to run on the laptop that would simply capture multi-tracks (from an Echo firewire box) and then let me import those multi-tracks into Sonar later in the studio.
 
Any suggestions for a cheap way to do this?
