I can't drag tracks small amounts, please help!

hi im a new user of sonar le and cant seem to get consistentcywhen trying to drag tracks very small lengths of time, the bars at the top only allows me to move my tracks 1 whole time standard meaning i cant make all the track line up properly, i'm able to do it ok in some of my projects which only adds to the cunfusion ? any help would be appreciated!

    Welcome to the forum.
    This could relate to something called Snap-to. If it's set to measure or some other parameter clips can only be inserted at that parameter.
    The Snap-to grid is a tool above the track view, looks like a grid. You can either click it to turn it off completely or click the drop-down arrow and set a different parameter, like 1/4, 1/32 etc.

    you little beauty gregy, im off and racing now, typical male thing to do though as i havent glanced over the manual yet so just flying by the seat of my pants really, thanks for your response very much appreciated
