or your girlfriend, auntie, mom, neighbor, twice-removed-cousin-in-law......awwww you get the idea!

We had the great pleasure of working with a few awesome female vocalists' here and we're looking for a few more as not to wear out our welcome knocking (begging) at the same front door(s). We've put an ad in our local Craigslist and so I'll just attach it and let that finish the thought...

We'd love to hear from anyone who has an interest in progressive music and has a creative mind to share (should read "warped") and needs a creative outlet!

Wanted: Female Vocalist for Progressive DAW projects

Mature (40+) Progressive Rock outfit looking for female vocalist to add another dimension to future recording projects. Should be familiar with working via DAW as this is NOT a live performing situation (at this point). 95% of work performed via file sharing so a working knowledge of DAW and home recording techniques is desirable. Our current platform of use is Sonar 8.5 but can cross use Pro Tools.


Band currently has 2 CD's complete and 2 slated for production/release in late '11 early '12. Age, looks and stage appearance not an issue (think "The Voice"). If your creative, easy to work with, favor progressive music (Floyd, King Crimson, Steve Morse, Porcupine Tree, Yes) and you've got the chops this would be a fantastic outlet.


This might be a perfect situation for someone whose never performed or one who has traveled beyond playing local club circuit (due to time, age or sanity) but needs a positive musical outlet.
