Session Drummer 3: Expansion Pack

Hi. I've never used SD before this morning as I've always built my own kits and patterns. However, I can appreciate the convenience of it all and can see potential.

I'm looking at the Expansion Pack and wondering if this is worth the $40 bucks - how are the patterns?
Anyone?Cheers

Actually, I'm finding this thing buggy. When I drag patterns in from the browser there tends to be note duplication - a general messing-up of things. Also, patterns tend to continue to play after the completion of a clip. Is this a known or am I having a bad-clip day?

Please email us at our support email.  We beta tested the grooves looped and worked fine.. so please let me know what grooves you're having problems with.

Rail. Ok. This is what appears to have been happening. Firstly, as I said, I'm new at this. The symptoms I was getting were as above and an increase in apparent velocity for the first bar. However, what appears to have been happening is that I was not hitting the "Stop" inside the SD clip player before dragging the clip and exiting the SD GUI. So both my clip and the "demo" clip were playing at once. It took me a while to figure this out so perhaps it might be worth looking at having the play button disable once a clip has been auditioned.
Anyway, apologies if in order: all working well now.
