Bounce SLOWDOWN!

Using X1 Pro...all of a sudden I do a couple edits (split and move) on a track and when I right click and choose "bounce to clip(s)" it takes very long time ....even for a single edit!

Also the %bar goes thru its cycle not once but multiple times.

The deed gets done but why does it take so long...I am not bouncing with FX.

And Advice?

Well, I know this has nothing to do with your problem but I had something similar happen to me the other day with freezing synths (even though I have fast freeze checked). It was strange, it was as if it was freezing in real time because it seemed to take forever. After getting sick of this I simply restarted X1 and things went back to normal? My percentage bar had some kind of visual glitch too. It has not happened again since though. It's just one of those apparitions.
As far as you are concerned, has it always been this way for you in X1? Or just recently? Can you open another project and bounce clips at the same, slow rate? Or in different projects is it at its normal, fast rate?
When I bounce to clips it's almost instantaneous.

Is Audio Snap enabled on the offending clip? Bouncing can take a while when that is the case.

I had the same problem, but when I was exporting my project.
I found out the problem was audiosnap and v-vocals, were the one taking time

You're going to think I'm insane, but is the top tool bar displayed or hidden? I have crazy slowdown issues when the tool bar is displayed...

I know.. crazy. I have a video and post here:

Edit your Aud.ini file and try changing your BounceBufSizeMsec to something other than 0. I used to have this problem and changed mine to 100.

    Fixed it for me.
