No Studioware templates in folder

i cannot see any studioware template files in the folder which is supposed to be their default path.

Can anyone help me find them / tell me where to locate them or re-load them perhaps?

I'm trying to set up a Roland VS880EX so I can update the system files through midi or SMF Neither have worked so far. Perhaps the Studioware template might help establish a connection?

Thanks

Use Windows search to find files with the extension CakewalkStudioWare.

Studio ware is nothing more than a GUI software representation of hardware.  Really outdated since softsynths and hardware controllers came along.  IMO

The search only turned up Templates for Sonar version 8.5 and that VS880 template did not load.

I tried to re-install Sonar X1 thinking I could have the option of loading just the Templates but that does not seem to be possible.

I realize that but I need to see if the hardware VS880EX is receiving any midi signals at all so I can update the system. I thought having the Studioware might help see if midi is getting through. And other features.

I do not see any option to View Studioware.

Did Cakewalk drop Studioware support in X1?

    Anyone?
