Sonar X1b - Deminsion Pro 1.5 - RESOLVED

Hello,

 I know this is a beat in the ground issue, but I've just loaded DimPro 1.5 and the prior threads don't seem to speak to this issue - or at least I've not found anything conclusive a they seem to point to Sonar 8.5.

 I'm running X1b in XP SP3 and X1 works well with all other VST plugins I use  I installed DimPro 1.5 today and it runs well in stand-alone mode but when inserting the DimPro as a soft synth the following error is always issued:

 The following VST plug-in failed to load: c:\program files\steinberg\vstplugins\Dimension Pro\Dimension Pro.dll

 The majority of my other synths Dlls live there so I don't think it's a permissions issue. On initial run of DimPro in stand-alone mode the registration key was readily accepted and as I mentioned the synth runs well.

Is the resolve always running X1 in Admin mode ?  Is there/will there be a fix on this ?

 Any ideas to solve this will be greatly appreciated.

    Admin mode is what works for me.

    Hello All,

     This turned out to be my issue actually....well..kind of.

    PlugIn Manager had a bad pointer for Dimension Pro, pointing to the Steinberg VST directory. A simple rescan corrected this. Wish I'd looked at the pointer sooner !  Don't know why it was pointing there, perhaps an earlier install, but I would have thought that the DIMPro 1.5 install would have corrected the pointer.
