Major bang for your buck = MSI A6400

Just found a gem that was very hard to pass up at $550. On sale through 6/4/2011 at Office Depot. Move fast cause they got one per store, maybe two.

Silver MSI A6400-042US laptop. 15.6" form factor. New Sandy bridge Core i5-2410M(2.3 GHz-2.9 GHz) processor with next gen Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics. 4 GB DDR3-1066/1333 (bumped mine up to 6 GB). 2X USB 3.0 and 2X USB 2.0.

Disable the wireless LAN and DPC latency fluctuates between 71-101 micro seconds. Lean and green!  MSI is not heavy on the bloatware so there is little to remove. I'm going to clone the included 500GB HDD onto my 500GB Seagate Momentus XT hybrid HDD.

Yeah, forgot to mention that it also has a Blue Ray DVD drive, write and read! It's also super quiet. Unbelievable value at this price.

I've since tweaked this notebook to it's full potential. I had forgotten that I already started a thread on it.
    Here is the new thread:

Great, would like to hear more.

Do a search for MSI A6400. Nothing...you'd think this thread would be found.

    I don't appreciate the censorship.  It's BS and I'm a little dissapointed.

    Does it support another monitor?

Unfortunately, I don't see it on Office Depot's website anymore, and they're the only US retailer that I know of that carried them. But maybe if you search around you'll still find one.
edit- I tried to search for MSI A6400 and didn't receive any hits either.

It's Cakewalk's board...they can do whatever they want.
