    Hi Carl,

I love the song.  The message is painfully appropriate.  The filtered vocals work well IMO and the guitar-brass sound is captivating.

    Nice track!

real nice and unique. I think you need to bring down the guit/horn parts when they come in.

Wow - fantastic.  Love those fusion horn / guitar lines.  This is absolutely superperb.  Can you tell us a little (or a lot) about how you recorded this?  Do you have a CD's worth of music like this?  I wouldn't mind having this in my car.  Really great.

    timidi,

Thanks for your suggestion. I uploaded a totally remixed version.
Maybe they sit better in the mix now?

The guit solo parts still sound waaaaaaaaaaaay too loud to my ears. Really cool tune. let the groove be the focal point and the (loud) guits a piece of candy floating in the groove. As it is now, it's like way overpowering.
Of course, that's just my opinion...

for the devil sends the beast with wrath.....
because he knows the time is short.....
    let him who hath understanding.....
reckon the number of the beast.....
for it is a human number...
    it`s number is.....

    Thanks alike,

The vox were recorded with one take passes at random- very hodgepodge. I can see where you might not like that kind of style or eq'd sound.
Glad you enjoyed the overall tune though.

    timidi,

Well "waaaaaaaaaaaay too loud" kind of says it all right?!
Did another remix, hopefully a bit better.
Thanks for the critique, appreciate the feedback.

    Hi guitarek,

Thanks for the kind words. The rest of the material for this project pop/rock, not very fusion.
I wrote & recorded this around 2004, I think Sonar 6.0?? About 50 tracks, lots of editing but nothing out of the ordinary.
The sax solos were added recently & then  I added the unison guitar. Now I'm trying to get the mix worked out.

Just realized the vocal eq effect was actually out so maybe that's why it sounded off. Still working on it though.
