Sonar X1 Essentials not living up to its potential

I made a purchase of Sonar X1 Essentials upgrading from Sonar Home Edition 7 and its been a bust for me. None of the plug-ins that I've purchased have migrated to X1 (Guitar Rig 4, AAS Player, Strum Acoustic & Electric Guitar, etc.) And there is this audio problem that's present in X! but not in Sonar 7.  Am I alone in this? If it wasn't for Sonar 7, I'd be still spending way too much time trying to gt this program to work.  Here is one of my efforts using Sonar 7.

Check your scan paths in 7 and make sure that you have all the same scan paths setup in the plugn manager in X1.

With respect to the audio you will need to provide more information as to Audio interface,Windows version etc.

these plugs should work fine on x1.  definitely check your vst folder settings and and rescan all plugs.

I've been comparing both and seeing if i missed something but I have been rescan the plug-ins and even went into the setup to see if I can get it through the folders.  I even looked at the FX section as Guitar Rig 4 is a FX.  The audio problem i've seen in other forums relating to X1 and Realtec audio but I'm using a Creative Labs soundcard that's been working fine with the other DAW's until this latest upgrade. I'll look further into it or if it gets to cumbersome, I'll do something different.

Here is an alternate link, Youtube gets hinky on content even when it's your own.

As the others have said, you're not doing the VST scan correctly.  You not only run the scan, but before doing that, you push the button in the Plug-in Manager that opens a window where you type your VST paths.  Most people keep all their .dll files in the communal Cakewalk VST folder, but maybe your AAS instruments, for instance, have their VST .dll files in the ASS program files.  You can leave things where they install as long as you include that location in the Manager dialogue before scanning.
