Control Bar going Blank after minimizing X1 - Was supposed to be fixed in X1b

I had an open incident with Cakewalk because the Control Bar would go blank.  Report from Cakewalk was that it was fixed in X1b.  I'm up to the latest quick fix update build 255, but the problem still exists.  Either it was never really fixed or one of the quick fixes after X1b has broke it again. 
 
If I minimize Sonar, to do something else such as something in Goldwave (it doesn't really matter what other program) and then go back to Sonar the Control Bar will be blank.  I can "float" the Control Bar and then Dock it at the top and get it back.  This is an intermittent problem - doesn't happen everytime, but it does more times than not.
 
It probably was never fixed as I have been using 8.5.3 rather than X1.  I just recently decided to bite the bullet and start using X1.

    It doesn't happen as much but it does still do it. Having to maximise the MultiDock window on a second monitor gets a bit old as well.

    does this only happen when it's docked?  I've never seen it happen but my CB is always floating on the 2nd screen.

    I only have one monitor and have not tried it floating.

    As I noted in the original post, I have the latest quick fix.  I have installed each quick fix as it was announced (according to what I saw that was the way they are supposed to be installed).
