VStudio 700 - How did it change your workflow?

there's been a few things but the mouse (or trackball here) is still required along with the keyboard. There are a few button combinations required which I actually find difficult to remember simply because there are so many options to recall. Trying to master clip editing along with navigation using the scroll wheel and all the various button combinations often bemuse me... and it does depend on how often you are using the surface of course. Sometimes the mouse is so much quicker.

I think you find your own particular workflow and then just get into a routine. It's then that the 700 starts to shine 'for you'. I've also got a couple of re-labelled buttons on the surface to reset all peaks for example which are always handy. For doing multiple takes from your chair, the surface is great.... a quick undo and away you go again etc... really good.

Have to say that once you get your mojo on with the 700 system, it does seem very very good and worth the learning curve much like any system.

Hey fair call but you'll find the keyboard still gets a bit of use. Mine used to sit to the left hand side of the 700C and occasionally get a press during a project ot\r dragged across for track labeling etc.

The screen set keys get a bit of use now changing the work flow a little more so the keyboard now sits in front of the 700C in the temp room.

The mouse is a must have still alas.... the track ball does take some of the pain away though.
