Midi Patch Browser

in Sonar 6 you used to be able to go to the bank & patch section of a MIDI TRACK, around the patch dropdown you could right click and a "patch browser" would pop up that would allow you to audition all of the sounds that a synth had right from that patch browser instead of having to pull up the synth interface and click thru...  is this function gone??

how can I quickly audition synth patches??

also, it would be great if somebody had a list of file extensions that a synth plays.. some play .wavs, some play .prog files...

thanks.

The Patch Browser still exists in X!. In your midi track Inspector, on the left-hand side just below the effects bin are three drop-downs where you select the output channel, bank and patch respectively. Right-click on either the Bank or Patch and your Patch Browser appears just as it always used to. This also works in the Console View.
