Problem with midi Learn

I have a bunch of mid device configured and working correct.. why is if I do a midi learn on lets say a fader in the CV it works and learns as it should and why when I have a plugin that has the midi learn feature , it won't learn.. I cant see it being a plugin problem because this same plugin I ran in stand alone and I used a bunch of different controllers/ midi devices and they all worked.. Its a simple midi learn ...  

Computer - Intel Q9550, Intel BX48bt2 MB, W8 64 bit. 8 gb Ram, SSD  
Hardware - Tascam Fw1884 Control surface only, Ni S49 Komplete Kontroll,Roland Quad Capture, Ni Machine,Kore, Focusrite A/D converter, Blue Mic, Roland Gaia, Akai Mpk49, Yamaha HS80 Monitors.
Software - Sonar Platinum , Vengeance VPS bundle,Sugar Bytes Effectrix, Turnado, NI Komplete 10 Ultimate, Dune, Rob Papen  Blade , Delay, Punch Evolved.

    Hrm. I've not had a problem with learning through plugins, but I primarily use NI plugins. 

    Have you tried using ACT learn instead of the plugin learn?

    Weird ... In reactor I can right click on a parameter and i have an option to midi learn and it wont learn, I can use ACT no problem but I'm unable to use the midi learn and thats only with plugins. I Know i was able to do this many moons ago..

    I can't learn through plugs when in ACT either.  NI, spectrasonics, fxpansion,etc.
