Sonar X1 and Melodyne Editor (the plugin/standalone that includes polyphonic editing)

I've had Melodyne crash my projects lately in X1 and 8.5.3 and it's driving me nuts. Is anyone else seeing this?

Windows 7 32-bit, Intel Q6600 2.4 gHz Quad, 4 GB RAM (less actually available in 32-bit...)

Sonar X1b, 8.5.3, Melodyne 1.2.1

Peace,

Tunes

I had problems until I increased the buffer size in preferences>audio. I now run in WDM with buffer size set to whatever the max is with no  problems. When recording of course I have to remember to reset the buffers down

I had to do the same as Fred, when I had a quad i7.  I just upgraded to a new Sandy Bridge and happily I can now leave the buffers low all the time!

    Intel Sandy Bridge i7 2600 @ 3.4GHz, 4 cores, 8 threads, 16GB RAM.

I tend to run ASIO drivers with my Fireface800. I mostly mix with this machine so I'm consistently using buffer settings at 1024.
