Problems with the VS-100? I monitor this thread fairly actively, and mostly it is just users trying to understand how to do something (which is normal), rarely a problem - and never have a seen something without a solution.

I find the VS-100 to be solid. The drivers are very good, and it interfaces with Sonar wonderfully. I first bought it when I was using Sonar 8.5 and it had no problems there. It sounds great, and although I have said it 10+ times before I'll say it again - I love the footswitch options it provides.

I never think twice about recommending the VS-100 to other users! Buy with confidence!

    Just my 2 cents,
    Good Luck!

Yes - there are only two microphone pre's on this unit.

The mics are on channel 1 & 2, and there are 4 more line inputs. You can record 6 channels at a time (+ 2 more if you have something with digital outputs), but only 2 of those have microphone pre's. There are 6 outputs.

I should add to my post earlier. I am very happy with the VS-100 because it suits what I need it for. It is very important that you look at the specs to see that is does what you need it to do.  That goes with any purchase I guess
