I don't think I've ever heard anyone complain that AudioSnap makes audio sound strange. It's more understandable with V-Vocal.
What are you actually doing and does the exact same thing happen in both AS and V-V (hard to believe that could be the case)?
If you change timing by stretching the audio instead of moving audio portions, then what you describe is logical. I don't remember the details and I'm not at my DAW. Does the pitch change? If so, shouldn't there be some kind of check-box to prevent it??
If you stretch/shrink the audio, theres no way to prevent the vibrato or pump-effect from slowing down/speeding up. It's as if there was a vocal "da-da-daa", if you stretch the audio, you also stretch the gap between every "da".
PS: BTW, Sharpdion, you have so much room dedicated for your signature, that you could as well write there some info that helps giving answers to your questions, like PC and soundcard specs.
