X1 crashes when saving track template

X1 crashes when saving track template

This is the first crash I've had in months.  I set up an audio track to create a bass gtr. template and saved it as a track template causing Sonar to crash.  Has anyone else seen this behavior?  There were no plug-ins in the track, and my inputs and outputs were correctly configured. Thank you for your responses.

    I started a new project with no tracks in order to create a song template.  I already had a bass gtr template which I added but changed the output assignment and resaved the template when it crashed.  I've never had trouble saving an instrument template before.  I'll try it in another project and report back.

    I opened an existing project, imported the bass gtr template, made a change to its output assignment and resaved it as an instrument template, and the program crashed as before.  Obviously, it worked before, otherwise, I would not have had the bass gtr template to begin with.  I've made vocal and guitar templates in the past, and I will try the same experiment with them when I get time.  This is the first time X1 has crashed in months.  I just want to know if it happens to anyone else.

    No I don't have this problem. Try making changes and saving it with a different file name and delete the old one.

    i have the same problem , i m finished with a mix and create a track template from all tracks i used,
    i start mixing with the next song and import the track template, in the moment i will save , sonar crashes, or somtimes sonar crashes when i change the outputs from a buss from the importetd track template, 

    so i have to mix the next song from the beginning and have to create all busses and track fx inserts like (trigger and all uad settings) from new
