Dr. Jack Kevorkian RIP

From what I understand, he was assisted by God in his death.

That is a shame. I happen to be one of th people who believed in and supported what he did.

    RIP Jack, you've earned it.

Regardless of whether or not one agreed with his ideals, he stood by his convictions and believed that he was providing a medical necessity that was lacking elsewhere.  you have to admire him for that at least.

And for the record, I supported him too.

I also admired his commitment and I agreed with most of his ideas on euthanasia.   I had mixed feelings about some of his methods which tended to alienate as many people as they attracted.

    RIP

Unfortunately, the worst possible spokesman for rational suicide. He was careless to the point of negligence in choosing who he would "help." This was not your hastening-the-inevitable-death doctor, but a guy who believed that if you were troubled by symptoms of uncertain etiology, he would stand beside you with encouragement as you bid farewell to life. If you are just tired of life, depressed or converted to nihilism there is always the gun shop or the elevator shaft. No one needs a doctor to kill himself, but we should expect a doctor to diagnose as well as treat. Quite aside from the right to suicide, one would expect more critical thinking from an MD.

I did not like the scale or radius of his guitar. *

    Seemed unplayable to me.

Ooooooops. Wrong thread.  RIP Dr. K.

*Maybe those were just plugins though. Still...... seems like they have one shot at working for me.
