Where is x1 Trim?
In 8.5 there is this trim control in track view. Where is it in X1? Is it now called Gain? and where is the quick group in x1 so that I can control the volume for multiple tracks in track view?

Gain and trim are of the same in Sonar X1 CTRL Click will quick group the track. Track view, you CTRL Click in the track # section (upper corner when expanded) and in the console view you CTRL Click the bottom track numbers Cj

Hold down the CTL button and then move the gain. Doing that will move all the quick grouped tracks. X1 is different from Sonar 8. In many ways, its worse In my opinion. Like quick grouping.

I found that that did not owrk for me, but I found out that when I right click the gain I could add it to group a, b, c.... and it will stay like that just for the gain control knob

I found that that did not owrk for me, but I found out that when I right click the gain I could add it to group a, b, c.... and it will stay like that just for the gain control knob That latter method is "normal" grouping, not quick grouping. If you just want to make one quick change to multiple tracks, and then have them act independently again, Ctrl-clicking/dragging controls with multiple tracks selected should work. You know you need to Ctrl-click track numbers or non-adjacent tracks or drag through the track numbers of adjacent tracks to select more than one simultaneously, right? You might be able to get away with Ctrl-selecting one track number, and then Ctrl-clicking a widget in another track without first Ctrl-selecting the track, but I've found the control matching can be inconsistent if both tracks are not fully selected.

Yeah, but it doesn't work on mine.... It used to work but thats ok
