Changing 8th-note triplets to 8th-notes....

I have a midi drum track that is currently in 4/4 with 8th-note triplets.
How do I change the triplets to plain 8th-notes so I can change the meter to 12/8?
I tried quantizing to 8ths but some of the notes wound up on top of each other.

Changing to 12/8 will make it much easier to change meters to 7/8, etc....

If it does not automaticly change, you'll have to re-write the track. AFAIK, there is no way.

Assuming you want 1 measure of 4/4 to become 1 measure of 12/8, do the following:

    1. Change the meter to 12/8
    2. Select the MIDI clip, and Process > Length  to 150%
    3. Increase the tempo to 150% of what it was.
