Can Track Input/Output volume be adjusted without the Inspector?

Is there a way of adjusting Input/Output volume in the Track View without using the Track Inspector?

There is no way of controlling input within Sonar that is done by your soundcard/interface.

Output volume can be controlled via the volume fader in the TV header. If you can't see it make sure that your widget selector (at the top of the view) has "all" selected. It is hidden in some of the views.

There's a widget manager listbox above the track headers to the left of the time ruler. Change it to All or Mix, and you will have Gain (a.k.a. Input Trim) and Volume (a.k.a. Output Level) controls in the track headers. You can also customize the different options to show what you want in each.

It's true that Gain does not affect anything ahead of your A/D converters, and it won't affect live, input-monitored signals, but it can control the level of existing audio clips feeding the track strip, and thus the level going to the FX Bin, Sends, and Output.
