Amplitube 3 & Teleport Server

I admit have had much time to sit and play or read the manual, YET

So I'm running X1 64 bit on Windows 7 and have Ampltiube 3 64 bit plug. Should it be lunching within this Teleport Server thingy ma jigger? Every time I cloae X1 I get a Teleport Server error. I'm asuming it's nothing to worry about and is just because I closed X1 before the Teleport window.

I don't really like the way I can't select a channel and double click the plug in the FX bin to bring up the Amplitube GUI. I have to hover over the Teleport window and then hope I select the right one? Any tips around this.

Also, last night whilst jammin Amplitube just dropped out. The audio engine was still running, project would still play other tracks and record me but my guitar signal just stopped going through Amplitube? I saved, closed, re-launced and al was fine again. The only thing I think I did was disable the metronome?

Any ideas?

Thanks
Dean

I am not sure but I think the bit bridge is using teleport server (or maybe j-bridge) because I see the same thing.

At first, I thought it was because I used to use the teleport server while I was in 32 bit but after a new install on a new machine, I still realized that SONAR X1 was starting up a teleport process.

And yes, it hangs on me as well from time to time but Amplitube was not one of the plugs that got directed to the teleport server for me.

I have just learned to live with the slight inconvenience of re-booting from time to time.

Amplitube 3 is 32 bit only. Ampltube 3.5 is the first 64 bit version. I think the current version 3.5.2.

If you have the latest Amplitube installed have you rescanned the plugings since you installed the update? Check Sonar is scanning the path where the 64 bit DLL is located.

Do you see the blue bitbridge icon in the top left of the Amplitube GUI? If so you are still using the 32 bit version.

64 bit Amplitube 3.5.2 works OK for me in Sonar 8.5.3.

Sorry. I have 3.5.2 and I defo only installed the 64 bit VST.

However, yes I see what I assume is the blue bitbrige icon in the top left of the GUI. But again there is only an Amplitube .DLL in Program Files not Program Files(x86). Sonar is defo scanning the 64 bit folders and I set up Plugin Manager using the 64 bit version. So not sure whats goin on.

My guess is that the 32Bit and 64Bit dlls didn't get installed into the correct VST Plugins folders.
Sounds like the 32Bit dll is being found... and thus 'bridged'.

I'd uninstall... then reinstall making sure to note that the VST Plugin dlls are being placed in the right folders.
Then... make sure Sonar X1 is scanning those folders.

    Best Regards,

    Hmmmmm.

Does the order of the folders in 64bit SONAR VST scan matter?

Well i'll be damned, it appears I did install both 32 and 64 bit plugs and only the 32 bit was being successfully scanned by Sonar. I'm wondering if it's because they were both called Amplitube 3.dll -  with no 64 or anything to seperate them.

I re-installed and made sure I only installed the standalone app and 64 bit plug and straight away Sonar picked it up. So much so it replaced the Amplitube instances in my projects and plugin manager layouts with the 64 bit version with out me even making any changes.

    Wierd but not complaing.

    Thanks for everyones input
