Inserting Time/Measure problems

While working on a piece with numerous meter changes, I needed to insert a measure near the beginning. I selected all the tracks and inserted one measure with all the "slide" options checked. To my dismay, I discovered that all the existing data was indeed slid over, except the meter/key changes. This happens consistently.
I can do a "workaround" by selecting all the data to be slid and cutting/pasting; however, the insert measure function would obviously be quicker if it worked.
I do remember having similar issues with 8.5 in that it would slide all the data except markers.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, anyone looking for an instrument definition for the new Korg Kronos?

I understand what you're talking about.  Here's what I do - I insert an amount of Ticks instead of measures.  Sonar gets confused by projects that have multiple meters.  It doesn't know how to handle inserting a Measure except in projects that have one meter throughout.

SO, move by ticks.  I keep Sonar set to the default value of 960 ticks per quarter note.   I multiple to get the value I need - a measure of 4/4 would be 3840, for instance.

I keep a little hand calculator next to my keyboard for that - It would probably be more 21st Century to use the one in my browser's toolbar.

    Try that.

Thanks for the suggestion. Using ticks instead of measures works as it should. Doesn't it seem odd that a basic function which worked perfectly in Sonar 5 and 7 (I checked) now doesn't? Seems like all the new features of X1 have left those of us who do mostly MIDI work to cope with either broken or missing features. (I'm still really annoyed that the "tempo ratio" functions have been removed and you can no longer bind a MIDI reset to a key.) I get the feeling that the Bakers no longer care that much about those of us who use Sonar primarily for MIDI work rather than extensive audio editing.
