Sonar X1 Producer/Massive Crash Problem

Hi All,

i'm running sonar X1b producer x64 on win7 x64.  i have a project in which i have attempted to add Native Instruments Massive (latest version).  it adds fine, and i can work with the VST in any manner, but when i try to save, the status indicates "Reset Button" and Sonar crashes (without saving my work).  

i've tried adding the synth with the audio engine off...  and then turning it off again after the synth is added.  this allows me to save, but now, every time i open the project, it crashes upon activating the audio engine (same message: "Reset Button").

please help?

    I've seen that unexplained Status of "Reset Button" message in my (fairly constant) X1 crashes.  No idea what it is.  I've had working projects crash with that message if I try to close it when the the reverb tail or delay is still sounding.

    can't seem to get the project to open in safe mode either, even when not loading any of the VSTs.

    it's generating a mini-dump now...

    i don't suspect massive in particular, as i've got many projects using massive with no issue.


    the more i read the only recurring theme i can see with the "Reset Button" message is related to some bus bug.  i can't seem to find out what the bug is or whether there is any way around it though....  and, as i said, even safe mode without loading any plug-ins isn't working....


    would like to save the data from the project...


    would love to hear any further suggestions.

    With the crash problem I've been having recently I ALWAYS see the reset button message.  I am not a happy customer and I no longer feel that I can rely on Sonar for serious work, too many crashes.

    I just searched my computer for the minidump files and I've had approx. 65 crashes!

    post your specs and you might get more help.  I have not had a crash since the hotfix and only a few since x1b and I use massive with lots of instances on almost every project recently
