Problem with audio

I am returning to home recording after a lapse of too long. recently divorced and moving house I have attempted to set up a new studio at my new place using CWHS6XL on my laptop. I use a Presonus Audiobox USB interface.

When I tried to set it up, I get NO audio whatsoever using the Presonus. I cant hear previously recorded audio or midi and I notice that the audio meters in the master arent even moving. In options=>audio it has Audiobox USB ASIO drive set as in & out. Strangely though I can hear all other computer sounds (Itunes, internet etc) through the Presonus.

Hoping it is something stupid/silly I am missing.

Check that you have the latest update for SHS 6 (6.2.2) and the latest drivers for the Presonus for your system.
Make sure the ins/outs in Options>Audio sre the correct ones, for instance you may have S/PDIF chosen.
Ensure that the correct drivers are selected under the Drivers tab.
Open the Presonus mixer and see if the input is set too low or muted.

if the meters in sonar are not moving it has to be something within sonar not the Audiobox
check each of your tracks and make sure they are outputting to the master buss not the Audiobox, then set the output on the master to the Audiobox.

Thanks 57Gregy. That worked!. Whats weird is that my Sonar driver was not current but my Audiobox one was. I updated the Sonar driver, still didnt work. Then I updated my Audiobox driver despite the fact it was the same as what I already had and for somereason it did the trick. It must have still needed "rewiring" in the right direction I guess.

    Alls well that ends well........
