Hello all. I am using sonar x1 producer (x1b).
I have a very basic song with two tracks: a drum loop, and an audio track of a guitar I recorded.
I'm trying to change the tempo of the entire song. This is the year 2011, is this possible yet? When I make the change, I select both tracks and use the "down" button to change the tempo that is displayed at the top of the screen. The drum loop slows down correctly, but the guitar track stays at the original tempo. This seems like a VERY basic function that a LOT of people would want to do frequently!
Can sonar do this reasonably easily, and if so, how?
Thanks in advance!
Quite a complaining tone from a person who obviously hasn't bothered to read the manual - that's what you need to do in spite of which year it is. Groove clipping a clip takes two clicks, that's it. There are several other options for stretching/shrinking audio as well.
SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre - Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.
