How to stop playback ... where I stop without cursor moving back ?
I tried to see what I have done in S 8.5 so I can also make it in X1 : how do I get the cursor stop exactely where I stop playback and avoid it to return to beginning of measure ? I know it.s a simple one... But I just can't remember... Thanks, Rob

alt + spacebar. if you do what scott said then alt+spacebar will have the opposite effect.

sykodelic alt + spacebar. if you do what scott said then alt+spacebar will have the opposite effect. It's Ctrl + space by default. -Susan

garrigus Choose Options > On Stop, Rewind to Now Marker from the Track view menu. Scott =====Scott, what a coincidence : just received your book today :) However, this one states at beginning that there's no more menus in X1... How (where) do I find this (what you stated above) ? Is it done per project or overall ? Thanks ! Rob -- Scott R. Actually, SONAR X1 does have menus... actually, most things are done via menus now... what's missing in each of the Views is the toolbars. At the top of each view, you'll see menus (although, they look like buttons with little drop-down arrows next to their labels). At the top of the Track view, you'll see one of them labeled Options.
