MOTU 896

Been using the original MOTU 896 with SONAR 4 forever.  I understand that when I upgrade to 64 bit, I can just download a new driver from MOTU.  Has anyone had any issues with this?  Their customer support is awful.

Windows 7 64 bit and Firewire has not been a happy combination so far.
Service Pack 1 was supposed to fix it, but that doesn't seem to have
been the case for everyone. I don't have specific knowledge of how
    Motu is affected.
Google "Windows 7 Firewire Problem" and you'll get the picture..

I have a lappy with Win 7 64 bit running (1) 896 and an 896HD (markII) simultaneously.  No problems that I am aware of.  However, I have not really put it/them through a real onsite remote test yet.
