Export MIDI

Hey guys
Just a quick question -- how do you export a MIDI track in Sonar X1 Producer?

I thought it would be akin to Logic in terms of File > Export > MIDI but I can only see different MIDI file options on the Export > Audio dialogue box and have no idea which one to choose.

I'm trying to get three MIDI tracks exported to be imported into a score editor.

Many thanks for your help!

You don't export MIDI, you save the project as MIDI. There are like 4 different choices so try saving different ones to see what it is you are after... some will save raw tracks, some will save all track data (names of tracks) as well as all the audio tracks... but they will be shown as MIDI when and if you import them into a new project.

Drag the midi clip to your desktop! Though I don't know if the fx will too

If you have multiple clips in the track, use Bounce to Clips to combine them into one clip first. Then just drag and drop the clip anywhere outside of the SONAR window to export the clip as a MIDI file.
