Updated GTR3 Plug in, missing from VST list...?

Updated GTR3 Plug in, missing from VST list...?

hello all...
 
I had this problem about a year and a half ago but cannot find my original post that had
the solution.
 
Today I updated my Waves GTR plug in to V8, and totally forget how to add it to my VST list.
(It still has V7)
 
Any help would be appreciated....

    Go into your plugin manager and do a VST scan for the folder location of the plugins dll file.
    That should fix it.

    Open the Cakewalk Plug-in Manager. Click Options to make sure the VST folder containing the Waves dll's are listed. If not, click Add to add it. Then Scan VST Plug-ins.

    I checked the plug in manager and the new version of Waves V8 .dll is listed there, but is not listed when I go to insert the VST, the old V7 files come up instead.
     
    I checked the C:, Program Files, Cakewalk, VST folder and Waveshell VST 8.0 .dll is there.
     
    I'm sure there's something simple that I'm overlooking...but like I said...I only did this once before when I got
    the software & I never had to look at it again & forgot how I did it....UGH!

    some of the .dll files were in another folder.......found them...moved them....re-scanned....all set.
