Do you need MIDI hardware to create good music?

Yo waasup cakewalk community.

Well I was wondering do you really need hardware like the old days to create good projects?

    No, all current Cakewalk programs run audio well. You can use loops and samples, even MIDI loops through a software synthesizer, so you don't necessarily have to be able to play a keyboard. Shucks, these days you don't necessarily have to play any instrument.

    Like greg says you really don't even need to play an instrument of any kind, the tools available in Sonar will let you do incredible things with even a minuscule amount of musical knowledge, and a little practice

    wheres the tutorials around here? i know the basic functions. but im still pretty confused on how to make it flow properly.
