Sonar 8.8.3 reacting slow

Hello guys,
Its been a while since I bugged you guys but today is monday and thought I'd try you guys before I try the phone. All of a sudden my sonar is running real slow. When I try to just mute a track it takes a couple of moinutes to do that. Copy and paste a simple midi track isn't happening.
Other programs dont seen to be effected. I'm running a Asus computer with 6 gigs ram and windows 7 64 bit. Driver mode is asio and M audio fast track pro.

How long has it been going on?
Have you defragged the hard drive lately?
Any other programs running, like a virus scan or other program that runs automatically, like scheduled defrag?
What are the CPU and Disk readings at the lower right of SONAR?

I am selling my MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS, red and black. PM for more details.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.
    Everything is better with pie.

Thanks for the reply Greg. Cpu readings lower right are both 0% and virus scanner is not running. This is a pretty new computer. I think its something simple but what. It was ok a week ago.

You might want to run a virus and malware scan to make sure you didn't pick up something.
