Recording streaming audio and video, and slowing down.

Hi everyone,
 
Is there a feature in X1 that will record streaming audio and video off the internet? If not, what is a good program that will do this?
 
Also, as a guitar player I'm interested to cut solos and parts from songs and slow them down so I can learn them. Does X1 have a feature that will do this? If not, what is a good program that will?

    SONAR family programs have no means of recording or editing video.
    Someone surely pops in to give hints.

    I'm still using SONAR PE but I'm sure there are equally good ways to change playback speed in X1, though you did not tell what version of X1 you're using. There's a huge difference between Essential and PE.

    Process  > length is one and Groove clipping is another.

    SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

    Hi Kalle, and thanks. I just purchased the X1 upgrade for a new computer and I haven't tried it yet. Hopefully everything will be here by the end of the week.

    If Cakewalk programs don't have those features, then both would be excellent additions to offer that would attrack a larger market. There are other good products out there that do this, and I hoped the nex X1 had these features included.

    I won't be surprised if these features are eventually added because everyone would like the ability to record their streaming audio and video from the computer. And all guitar players would like to slow down solos in order learn them.
