need help with sonar X1 playbar

need help with sonar X1 playbar

whenever i hit play record or by anyway let the playbar move.
It freezes after about 0,5 seconds. the music keeps recording and playing.
but the timer and playbar froze.

no anwser on google.
and yes i have tried hitting the pauze/break key.

no luck what so ever.
please help

    How much video ram do you have?

    Sonar X2 Producer. Focusrite Saffire 6, Fender Strat, black PC for recording and mixing. That is all.

    PLazma: i have a custom build
    3.6 ghz quad-core
    4 gb ram
    and a Radeon HD 5770.

    so i dont think my PC cant handle it ;P

    Its not really the problem from your video. because i found your video while i was searching youtube for anwsers :P

    but its not that. i found out some new stuff about the problem:

    when i open sonar.. and then hit play without ANYTHING open. no plugins nothing.. it plays fine.. as soon as i insert an audio track or open 1 plug in.
    as soon as i hit start.. everything works fine.. only the play bar and time screen do not move or work.

    Ah I get it now. weird. I wonder what it's doing when it first starts. Maybe take a vid and submit a CW ticket. There might be some kind of debug logging or something they can do.

    If you have a second computer you could try loading sonar and seeing if the same happens on the other computer. Just a thought to try and rule out the PC completely.
