A quick shout out to Tom Deering

Man, what a guy.

I had a problem under W7 with my Tascam FW-1884 interface.

I PM'd him and he asked me to call him (as he happened to be sitting in front of his FW-1884).

5 minutes on the phone and the problem was solved.

Thanks to Tom (even though he may not come down here much).

These forums are made up of a bunch of great people.

Did you know, bapu, that Tom is in LA every year during NAMM, exhibiting at the guitar show? I tried to get him down to our get-together last January but he wasn't going to be arriving in town until the following day. We'll have to talk him into coming down a day early next year.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

I might just consider it for banjo jam night.
