The current promotion w/ the Free Welcome Kit

So does this also include the retail boxed Upgrade versions of Sonar X1? If purchased from another retailer like Sweetwater, etc.  The reason I ask is because I have existing store credit.

    Don't think so. The page says it is $29 extra for the box (plus shipping cost probably).

    I'd like to know if the Sonar X1 power tips and tricks is the real full book from [size=2 font=""]Scott R. Garrigus, or if it is just an extract.

    It's a PDF with some tips and techniques from yours truly, but no, not the entire book.

    Can someone from Cakewalk confirm what Sepheritoh said because I remembered that the two free sound packs was available for retail versions - when it was promoted a few months back.   I just want to make sure that I can get this Welcome Kit too before I order my retail version.

    Also, is this Welcome Kit available to everyone who upgraded to X1 in the past?  Users of X1 can reply.

    Does anyone know if the "welcome kit" will be made available to current X1 owners? In all fairness it should. Here is a link to what CW is offering to new customers: Welcome kit
