Blocking #CC codes

Hi,

Is there a way to block only ONE #CC code that comes from my hardware?  I want to block #CC 123 (All notes off)..

Thanx

That would be using MIDINotchFilter, available here in a package of other useful tools. But, for an "All notes off message" I would try to fix this with a setting at the hardware source end (otherwise, you have to add filters to tracks all of the time).

    Thanx for the link...

I am going to get rid of my aging hardware synth month end - it's just a work around till then :)

I block CC123 from my Roland RD-300s using SONAR's own MIDI Event Filter FX. But I have to say it occasionally gets confused, and messes up Note event echoing in real-time. I might have to check out the NotchFilter.

EDIT: It appears that like other 3rd-party MIDI FX I've tried, these can only be used in an x86 environment.

The problem is you have to register them with Windows, using regsvr32.exe, but you'll only be able to do this successfully if you're still on 32-bit Windows.

Assuming you're on x64 like me, you'll have to use Cakewalk's MIDI Event Filter. It's got some GUI bugs that make setup a little challenging. Here's the drill:

Currently I use Cakewalk's filter as well but I can only get rid of #123 by filtering off 123 and above... I'm not sure what gets filtered off from 124+, though...
