I AM FAMOUS!!
Or very nearly so. In the July 2011 issue of Guitar Player mag, on page 1 of the actual mag (after 17 pages of ads and two pages of table of contents) , just beneath the editor's column, you'll find my letter to the editor, the Rant of the Month. This is almost as exciting as the time Mike Grande was mentioned in the mag as runner up in a song contest. Some people get to see their names in lights. I get to see mine in print. It isn't the cover of the Rolling Stone, but.........

Sure thing, Karyn, but she's already impressed. Because some of my songs have been given a listen in such faraway and exotic locales as Scotland and the UK, I've told her I'm an international recording star. A little embellishment can go a long way.

I once got a letter printed in the Sunday Sport (for those outside the UK, this newspaper was very highbrow and intellectual and staid).
