Track Cleanup.

I want to clean up the tracks of a song. I know in Pro Tools there is a tool that trims all clips and runs the new clip from the beginning of the song up to the end. Is there a similar command in X1 Producer?

If you mean that you'd like to combine all clips in a track into one long clip, select the track and choose Clips > Bounce To Clip(s) from the Track view menu.

In Pro Tool it automatically stretches it to the beginning and ending of the song.

Just highlight the time line and bounce to tracks, if you want to have the track have the empty space when its not playing.

You can also slip edit each side of the clip and stetch it with your mouse

May i ask why you want dead space?

I am sending the file out for editing and the producer requested all tracks loaded full length. He said without it, it often causes import problems.

In that case, you don't really need to do this inside the project.

Just choose File > Export > Audio. And then for the Source Category, choose Tracks. SONAR will automatically create one long audio file for each track in the project.
