Bouncing Tracks

Hi,
I don't bounce a lot of tracks, but I just tried to bounce eight drum tracks
down to one, the original eight tracks going through the bus sound great,
then when I try and bounce the bus, it lacks the original punch.
So I then tried to bounce from the entire mix, and the main outputs, but again doesn't
quite sound like the original,
I thought it should sound exactly the same, being a digital signal

And I noticed it again when trying to bounce a couple of guitar tracks
down to one, any ideas?

Thanks
John

drum tracks are hard to bounce and live with,  there is always a need to ajust the drums in a mix via crash or bass drum,iv had this isssue and have just stoped bouncing the drums unless i changed a clip

Make sure all you drum tracks are routed correctly i.e. to their own drum buss, then onto your master bus.

Make sure any busses used by way of sending from your tracks are also routed to the master

Either mute all your other busses/tracks or solo your drum bus (& Fx bus).
(I find a better way is to place all the individual drum tracks into their own folder, and then just solo the folder.)

Make sure you're selecting the correct options in the bounce dialog box.
