How do I find out what Update/patch, X1nothing/X1a/X1b of Sonar I have?

I just got Sonar X1 Essential installed on my Windows XP Pro 32bit CAD workstation (OSWATT), and don't know if I already have the latest version/patch (X1b). According to the "Help/About Sonar...", this is Version "Sonar X1 Essential (Build 185)".

Should the "X1" be a "X1b" if this is the "X1b" update? Or is there another way to find out what version I have without wasting Cakewalks bandwidth downloading patches/updates I may already have?

In an unrelated "Knowledge base" page, I see Build numbers in the two-hundreds, however I don't see a build number for the X1a or X1b update.

I am in a way, upgrading from [3 months use] ProAudio9, with the Audigy2 ZS default midi junk sounds. So I know nothing about Sonar X1 except for what was included in the Cakewalk how-to vids at You-tube [like the "When two worlds collide" set].
*added sig thingy...

Update;
If your "Help/About Sonar..." indicates,
"Sonar X1 Essential (Build 185)" = Original 2010 retail box DVD release.
"Sonar X1 Essential (X1a Build 197)" = Update X1a Version: 1.10, Last Updated: 3/21/2011
"Sonar X1 Essential (X1b Build 242)" = Update X1b Version: 1.05, Last Updated: 5/2/2011
Thank you Lornerb2.

The "Help - About" menu option gives you all the info you need. If yours says X1 as opposed to X1b I'd guess you are using X1a as mine states "X1b".

Presumably at compilation time they didn't know there was going to be an X1b so the "a" was never included.

As I partly thought, Thank you.
So I definitely need to download the X1b update, and the jury is still out weather (Build 185) is X1a or the original X1. I'm surprised that is not mentioned on the update pages, or in Zyler's Sticky posts on this forum (Hint hint).

The X1b page stats I need to have X1a first, and dose not explain how to tell if I have X1a already... lol

About 200MB for X1a plus up to 329MB for X1b is allot to download for each user. I have websites, I know server bandwidth is not free.

If your "About Sonar" says either X1a build XXX or X1b build xxx you should be able to apply the update as the subsequent updates were cumulative I believe.  If it just says X1 build xxx you would likely need to install the X1a first.

Sorry about the delay, I had a seven-year-old trackball die on me, lol

I just installed the updates consecutively, and copied down what the "Help/About Sonar..." screen indicated each step. I should have noticed that the Copyright on the 185 build, was "2001-2010". That I think predates the first X1a update. When did the first X1a update get released, not important now. X1a dose indeed indicate that it is X1a in the "Help/About Sonar..." screen.
