Lost my sound...and found it again.

In a track.

Working in MC, on a "final mix". I did something..... don't recall what happened, but I was in playback and suddenly the lead vocal track went silent.

I traced the outputs and everything appears to be OK. The track meters are not indicating anything but I can see the wave forms.

I click on the track properties and the name is blank...also in the track view... I only see (Busy) in the clip view. in the other tracks that do play, I see >>  drums (21)(Busy) and so on....

I assume I did something (totally by accident BTW) to disconnect the audio clips from the project.... all on that one track and in about half a second with a bobbled mouse click.

In clip properties, I can click on Audio files tab and see a number of files, but clicking them does nothing.



I do have the original 4 tracks which all do play fine..... but I did quite a bit of editing and working in melodyne, so I would hate to have to redo this track from scratch. That is the final solution..... but I'm looking for the one that gets the track to play again first.

Anybody know what's going on here? Thoughts?

the puzzling thing was they didn't "unhide" on me.

problem solved.... tune is now posted in songs.
